For the second week in-a-row Spurs have let a lead slip as their winless streak in the Premier League extends to three.
Algerian international Riyad Mahrez continued his good form by scoring the equaliser one minute after 19-year-old Delle Ali scored his first ever Tottenham goal.
Last season the two club played three-times with Tottenham narrowly winning twice (2-1 and 4-3), while Leicester won the FA Cup tie 2-1. Given the Foxes impressive start to the season and home advantage another tight affair was in order, especially playing under 30 degrees.
However, a drab 45-minutes meant this meme during the mandatory drinks break was the only talking point.
The goal came from a speculative long ball by Wes Morgan which caused problems in the Spurs left-back position. Jamie Vardy came out with the ball and played in Mahrez who nudged the ball away from the clutches of Jan Vertonghen and then curled the ball into the left corner.
Just one minute beforehand Delle Ali scored a diving header at the back post after Nacer Chadli crossed from the left. Harry Kane, who was quiet throughout the game sparked into life by dribbling through the middle and find Chadli on the left.
Leicester's in-form winger caused panic throughout the game as he should have had a penalty after Vertonghen clipped him inside the box after the restart. Later in the game at 0-0 Mahrez cut inside from the right wing let off a shot that beat Hugo Lloris in goal but not the foot of the post. Finally, immediately after the goal Mahrez's cross from the left found Morgan whose bullet header from close range bounced off Lloris' chest and away to safety.
The draw keeps City at the top of the table as surprise leaders, whilst Mauricio Pochettino will be feeling the pressure in 15th.
