Sky Sports sources have revealed that Thomas Ince is now one step closer to ending his three year stay at Blackpool after he has reportedly been given permission to move to another Premier League club.
Although being a winger, Ince scored 18 goals last season for Blackpool and if he does stay at Blackpool, he looks set to score a similar number as he has currently scored 7 goals in the Championship this season.
However, with Blackpool's chances of promotion dwindling after a horrible run of form saw Paul Ince sacked (incidentally father of Thomas Ince), Thomas Ince no longer has any ties to the club and with his contract running out in the summer, he is almost certain to leave.
Where he will leave is another problem altogether. Today Ince has been strongly linked with Swansea, but Monaco were previously thought to be favourites in landing the 21 year old.
It may seem strange that mega rich Monaco would even consider a lowly Championship player, but their manager Claudio Ranieri has strong ties to the English game so there is substance behind the link.
