Iago Aspas's nightmare on Anfield is finally coming to an end as Sevilla have had a loan bid accepted by Liverpool. Sevilla have also included the option to sign Aspas for an undisclosed fee at the end of the loan spell if they see fit. With the player on board with the loan deal, all that is left is a medical.
As Liverpool have been linked with several forwards, getting rid of Aspas frees up space for other attackers to come in. The loan deal brings to an end a disastrous brief stay in England for Aspas.
Signing from Celta Vigo for £7 million, Aspas only made 15 appearances last season, scoring only one goal in the FA Cup against Oldham.
