Nemanja Vidic is in Serbia with Inter Milan's medical staff ahead of his proposed move to Inter Milan according to reports in the Italian Press.
Last week it was confirmed Vidic was indeed leaving Manchester United on a free transfer after strong rumours throughout the season.
Immediately, Vidic was linked with Inter Milan, as well as city rivals AC Milan and Italian champions Juevntus.
From this latest report, it appears as though Inter Milan have done enough to entice Vidic into joining the team as they look to rejoin Europe's elite in the Champions League after a brief hiatus.
Vidic has previous played against Inter Milan, scoring in the second leg to secure a 1-0 win (2-0 on aggregate) as United progressed to the quarter-finals in 2009.
