Since the likes of Ronaldo (Brazilian), Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho and latterly Kaka regressed, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo promptly took their places. The footballing world has been looking a third party to join them but after many false dawns in Wayne Rooney (overrated), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (inconsistent) and Sergio Aguero (injury prone), the footballing world has finally got its third musketeer in Liverpool's Luis Suarez.
However, with such a prominent position comes an increased spotlight. As you may have noticed, Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka all ended up at Real Madrid, whilst Henry, Ronaldinho and Messi represented Barcelona. The potential 4th great attackers of this generation - Bale and Neymar - are both at Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
Therefore Liverpool fans should be worried that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in their star player.
Rumour has it Luis Suarez has told close friends he wishes to leave should Barcelona and Real Madrid put in concrete bids.
As for Real Madrid, money is not an problem, however Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata are. Morata is understood to be itching for some first team football, while the high profile Benzema will not accept being back up to Suarez. And it is unlikely Ancelotti could fit in Bale, Ronaldo, Suarez and Benzema without seriously disrupting the flow of the team. Therefore, it has been mooted any Real Madrid deal for Suarez will involve a swap, most likely with Benzema going to other way.
