Liverpool may have lost star striker Luis Suarez to Barcelona but a move for a replacement has opened up for them as a consequence. Marco Reus had turned down a move to Manchester United as Barcelona had promised him a place in the side. However, as Luis Suarez became available after his latest escapade of biting forced Liverpool's hand, Barcelona could not help themselves a swooped in, leaving Marco Reus furious.
With Manchester United having moved on to Angel Di Maria and Arsenal having signed Alexis Sanchez, Liverpool hope to complete the transfer merry-go-round by getting the replacement they crave.
Liverpool Echo journalist, Jay Riley took to Twitter to announce Liverpool's interest in Marco Reus.
In addition to the aforementioned clubs, the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Chelsea, PSG and Manchester City having no obvious for need for Reus, therefore the road appears clear for Liverpool to sign their target.
