Leicester City are close to breaking their transfer record for Brighton Hove Albion's Leonardo Ulloa. The deal which is speculated to be worth £7 million, £1.5 million more than they paid for the current record holder Ade Akinbiyi.
As a result the Argentinian has flown back to England and will no longer be apart of Brighton's tour of Spain.
Ulloa scored 23 goals in 50 appearances for Brighton following his £2 million move from Almeria in January 2013. Ulloa has generally been prolific since he has been in Europe since 2008. Leicester will certainly hope that continues as they look to secure safety in their first season back in the Premier League.
