Manchester City have won their last five matches and have atoned for a rather average start to the season. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have only won once in their last five games, drawing three and losing once since defeating Liverpool.
However, City go into today's game without a recognised striker as Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic recover from their respective injuries. City are strikerless for the second week in a row; last week they managed to overcome Leicester by one goal to nil, but only registered nine shots. This gives hope to Palace who have tightened up at the back considerably since the start of the season. They have only conceded four goals in six games; a massive improvement considering they had conceded 20 in 12 games beforehand.
With Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha wowing the crowd with tricks and flicks, can Palace manage an upset?
