Rene Meulensteen has seemingly turned around Fulham's fortunes. Since his appointment they have played well in every single match and against Aston Villa, they finally got the victory their performances deserved.
Though Manchester City are a completely different animal compared to the teams Meulensteen has played. However, taking into consideration City are generally tamer away from home and they go into this without talisman Sergio Aguero, and they are without a recognised right back - Fulham have every chance of getting a result.
What goes against Fulham's favour is Berbatov's absence. Although I have been extremely critical of his performances this season, in the match versus Villa, he was the main creative spark in a game thoroughly dominated by Fulham. Take him out of the team, what remains is a largely industrial.
