Newcastle entertain bogey-side Arsenal still chasing their first win of the season whilst the Gunners will be keen to kick start their season as after three games they are already five points behind pacesetters Man City.
The Geordies have only won three times in the last 28 encounters against the Gunners and have lost the last seven in-a-row.
That said they kept Manchester United to an impressive 0-0 draw at Old Trafford suggesting an improvement from last season.
Arsenal will still see themselves as favourites and are unbeaten in their last seven away Premier League games (winning six). Although they will have to get a win at St James' Park without German playmaker Mesut Ozil who has a minor knee injury.
